The Lady Lions simply
dominated while on their way to
the teams tenth victory. All 14
players contributed in this one
sided affair. Behrend held an
advantage in every statistical
category.
Behrend owned the rebounding
margin of 46-34, the Lions held
Lincoln University to 29 percent
on the shooting chart, while
hitting 46 percent of their own.
The Lions had 17 steals and
forced 37 turnovers.

Championship Game
In first round action at the
Arby's Integra Invitational the
Norwich Cadets got by Bethany
College in a tight game 79-75.
Norwich who finished 25-2 last
season entered Saturday's contest
with an 8-2 record and a seventh
place ranking in their NCAA
region.
In an important game for

in the entire first half and forcing
Norwich into 15 in each half the
Ladies jumped out to a 44-30
halftime edge.
Within five minutes of the
second half the defensive pressure
buried Norwich. The Lions
increased their lead to 20 with
14:40 remaining and cruised to
their second tourney
championship of the season.
Ebingcr led a balanced
offensive attack. Ebinger posted
outstanding numbers scoring
seven points, grabbed eight
rebounds, had four steals, and set
a new single game assist record
with an even dozen. The old
record of 11 assists stood since
1985.
All-Tourney selection Heather
Shearer was perfect from the
charity-stripe and finished her
outstanding tourney play with 11
points and 5 boards. Boyd paced
the Lions with 17 markers,
hitting from all over the floor.
Boyd also snagged 9 rebounds, a
season best for her.
Tourney MVP Missy
Thompson went 8 for 8 from the
line on her way to netting a total
of 16 points. For the tourney
Thompson was 9 for 16 from the
floor, was nine of nine at the
Intramurals

Our kids really came together and

back in form. However we must
continue to work hard to excel,
and increase our level of play,"

Behrend 58 -- Grove
City 47
The Lady Lions, ranked 4th in
the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region,
took care of Grove City in Erie
Hall and improved their
outstanding record to 12-1.
Kimberly Boyd led with 13
tallies, Anne Bonner had nine
points, point guard Wendy
Ebinger led the squad with six
assists. Missy Thompson
snagged eight rebounds.
Behrend continued to hold
seasonal ration of 2 to 1 in the
steals category against opponents
by picking up 14 in the contest.
