Faculty and students will answer questions about their majors. Refreshments will be provided. Flu Shots Available: Flu vaccine is now available at the Health Center for the 91-92 flu season. The cost is $B/injection. The shot is recommended for anyone with chronic health problems and for healthy adults who work or live with people at high risk. Alcohol Awareness Week: Oct. 11-18 has been slated for this year's events which will include health tests, a mock DUI trial and, of course, the yearly blood drive. Loretta Russ The Collegian Graduate School A few years ago most seniors, looking ahead to a bountiful job market with lots of prospects, would have laughed and said grad school was for doctors, lawyers and philosophy profs. But with a not-so-bountiful job market, a lingering recession and more positions requiring advanced degrees, this year's senior class is taking a harder look at graduate schools. In fact, plans for graduate school aren't just for seniors. "It's never to early to start looking at graduate school possibilities," said Mary Beth Peterson, director of Career Development and Placement. "Even sophomores and juniors should begin to consider looking into graduate school programs." The first thing to consider is what field you want to enter after getting your undergraduate degree. Some fields require specific masters degrees or further in depth training. Knowing which direction you're headed can help you find a school that has the program you need. The student said she was smelling pine greens when her lips started to become numb and she began feeling dizzy. She was treated at the Health Center and released.
