And it poured on the
Women's softball team
Monday, enough to cause a
cancellation of their second
game against Thiel College.
The game was called by
officials in the bottom of the
third inning due to rain. At the
time of cancellation, the score
was 5-1 with Behrend out
front. There was also a runner
on third base and only one
out. Because the game didn't
reach the fifth inning (the
earliest a score can count) the
score won't be credited towards
the Lions season tally.
In the first half of that
doubleheader, though, Behrend
started Freshman pitcher Lori
Wolfe who pitched the Lions
into their Bth win of the year.
Her record so far is 4 wins, 1
loss, and 2 saves.
Behrend won by a score of
10-4 due in part by a 2 run

She believes the Lady Lions
are going to have a very good
year.
"A very, very good year --

The accounting major is

She added "We need to win
