Speaking about recent

Easter Bunny
On March 17th, the Alpha
Sigma Alpha associate members
played the part of junior Easter
bunnies. Under the supervision of
the St. Mary Church women's
prison ministry program, the
members made little bundles of
candy for some prisoners in
Western Pennsylvania.
St. Mary Church is very
compassionate towards prisoners
because its members want to
reassure the prisoners as they try
to reform. The church believes in
giving the prisoners incentives
for working hard to reform
themselves.
Every year at Easter, St. Mary
collects the bundles, and then
gives them to prison officials
who then distribute them.
The associate members choose
this particular philanthropic
activity because Alpha Sigma
Alpha encourages its members to
grow in a spiritual manner, as
well as in the other aspects of
their lives.
