I'd like to print an article given to me by a student who wishes to remain
anonymous.
Dear Louanne,
If you have a problem just saying no to drugs or alcohol, you're not alone. At some
point many of us have crossed the line between social usage and addiction. And as you
may already know, to just say no to drugs or alcohol is as effective as just saying no to
diarrhea.
If you think you have a problem with drugs or alcohol, chances are you may. Come
meet with some fellow Behrend students, and listen as we share our experience, strength,
and hope, and decide for yourielf,
If you are just sick and tired of being sick and tired, this support group may be for you.
If you are currently, or have been, a member of other support groups such as A.A.,
N.A., S.A., or C.A., we need your support and fellowship.
If you are wondering when I am ever going to finish this article and just tell you how to
meet with us, you are in luck.

I'm really excited we're finally going to have our own group on campus
for those struggling with chemical dependency. The group has met twice
already and has an enthusiastic core group so I am told. If you would like
to know more or would like to talk directly to a group member let me
