Alpha Phi Omega has collected the Campbell
Soup labels, Giant Eagle & Loblaws receipts from
the collection boxes. A.P.O & Diehl School thanks
you for your participation.
Attention all first semester freshmen:
There is a limited amount of measles vaccines
available at the Health Center. If you have not had a
measles booster, you need to have one to protect you
from this very serious illness. The vaccine will be
returned to the PA State Health Dept. December 14,
1990. After this time, vaccine must be ordered and
will cost at least $4O. For more information, please
call 898-6217.
Newman Members are participating in
"Operationi Mail Call." Please write a letter or
Holiday Greeting to any Service member in the Gulf.
Address the envelope to: Any Service Member,
Operation Desert Shield, The Persian Gulf. Place it
in another folder and drop it in Newman/Campus
Ministry, Box 877 or take it to the nearest Marine

The 42nd Annual Hanging of the Greens,
Penn State's oldest tradition, will be on Friday,
December 7, 1990 at the Wintergreen Gorge
Cemetery in the Behrend Chapel at 7 p.m. The
Campus Blue Bus wit/ depart from the Reed Union
at 6:30 p.m. Please join us for this beautiful
celebration of the holiday season.
"Coffee with the Provost," is an
opportunity for students to discuss issues and
concerns with Dr. John Lilley, Provost and Dean.
The next program will be held Thursday, December
6 at 3 p.m. in the Reed Seminar Room.
The Sample, Society for the Advancement of
Material and Process Engineering, scholarship
applications for 91-92 are available in the Financial
Aid Office. Eligibility to apply is a minimum GPA of
3.3 and full-time student status. Deadline for
applications is Feb. 1.
Penn State University Football team has
accepted an invitation to play in the Blockbuster
Bowl on Friday, December 28, at 8 p.m. at Joe
Robbie Stadium, Fort Lauderdale, Florida against
Florida State University. Arrangements have been
made for ticket applications to be accepted by mail
from students. The actual sale for these tickets will
be via lottery. Ticket orders must be received at
University Park ticket office by 4:30 p.m.,
Wednesday, Dec. 5. There is a maximum of two
tickets per order and persons placing orders must be
currently-enrolled students. The Price per ticket is
$24 plus a $1 handling charge per application.

yesterday afternoon. The Lion Ambassadors are using yellow ribbons this
year to honor those servicemen and women serving in Saudi Arabia.

"We'll use this tree from now
on," said Vicky Kholmeyer,
chairman of the Lion
Ambassadors.
"They chose to use an
existing tree rather than one that
is cut for ecological reasons,"
said Weber.
