the Reed Lecture Hall.
The sororities were judged by
a member of each fraternity, and
Sigma Theta Chi was determined
to be the winner.
Since then, a controversy has

In the skit, one member of

David Shields, assistant dean
of student services, said the
presidents of Alpha Sigma
Alpha, Alpha Sigma Tau and the

He said these representatives

performed did not depict women
in a positive way.
Leigh Stanesic, president of
Sigma Theta Chi, said she
received a letter notifying her that
the objections would be discussed
the Greek System, and won such

at the meeting of the Panhellenic
Council held last night. Stanesic
said according to the letter she
received "A judicial board is not
being called."
"I hope ittan be straightened
out, we thought we did really
well," said Stanesic. "We felt it
was done in good taste."
The objections are based on
the stipulations of the code of
conduct in the Panhellenic
constitution "which says we
must have dignity and good
manners," said Stanesic.
Shields said that "hopefully
this will be a learning experience
for all. I think the sororities in
