Commuter. Council's 24-hour dance
marathon raised over a thousand
dollars for the United Way

Collegian Staff Writer
The Winter Garden became the
stomping grounds of seven
individuals during the Commuter
Council's 24-hour Dance
Marathon which took place last
weekend.
Contestants included two
couples and three individuals.
Among them were the winning
team of Jen Tomasino and Jason
Ardrey who danced for the entire
24 hours. Their efforts helped
raise $379.20 for the United

"I'd like to thank the radio
club, especially Ricky George
and the fraternities that helped.
They were a big support," said
Jen Warren; the Commuter
Council member who organized
the event.
A total of $1,010.70 was
raised for the United \Nrar.
