KENDALL'S SPAVIN CURE!
THE MOST SUCCESSFUL REMEDY EVER
discovered, as It Is certain in its effects and does
not blister. Read Proof Below.
From Iter. N. P. (.ranger,
Presiding Elder of the St. Albans DlBtrlct.
St. Albans, Vt., Jan. 20th, 1880.
DR. J. B. KENDALL & CO., Cents: In reply
to your letter I will say that my experience with
Kendall's Spavin Cure has been vory satisfactory
Indeed. Three or four years ago I procured a bot
tle ol your agent, and with it, cured a horse of
lameness caused by Spavin. Last season my
horse became very lame and I turned him out for
a few weeks when he became better, but when I
put him on the road he grew worse, when I dis
covered thata rins bone was forming, I procured
a bottle of Kendall's Spavin Cure, and with less
than a bottle cured him so that he is not lame,
ueither can the bunch be found.
Respectfully yours,
P. N. GRANGER.
Perseverance "Will Tell !
Stoughton, Mass., March 10m, 18R0.
B.J. Kendall & Co., Gents: In Justice to you
and myself, 1 think 1 ought to let you know that I
have removed TWO BONE SPAVINS with Ken
dall's Spavin Cure," one very largo one; don't
know how long the Spavin had been there. I
have owned the horse eight months. It took me
four months to take the large one oif, and two
months for the small one. 1 liave used 10 bottles.
The horse Is entirely well, not at all stiff, and no
bunch to be seen or felt. This Is a wonderful
medicine. It is a new thing here, but if it does
for all what It has done for me Its sale wlU be very
great. Respectfully yours,
CHAS. E.PARKER.

not blister, and yet Is penetrating and powerful to
reach any deep seated pain or to remove any
bony growth or any other enlargement, If used

The Darkey's Explanation.
Early in the late civil war, John Den
nis, a full negro, believing himself fired
with patriotic zeal, and able to serve his
country, besought his master, a Georgi
an and obtained permission to accom
pany a regiment from that State, which
was soon placed under the command of
General Floyd. The history of that
campaign is well known. On the re
treat John became home-sick, and was
allowed to depart. He had become well
known to General Floyd and all his com
mand. On his departure he wei ' to
take leave of the general, when tht 1
lowlng dialogue was bad :
"Well, John, you are going to leave
us, eh V"
"Yes, Mars Floyd; it 'pears like I
could do more good at home now dan
bein' beref so I thought I'd go home
and 'courage up our people to hold on."
" That's right, John. But are you
going to tell 'em that you left us when
running from the Yankees V" asked the
General.
" No, sir ; no, Mars Floyd, dat I ain't.
You may 'pend upon my not tellin
nothin' to 'moralize dem people."
" But how will you get around telling
them, John ?" said the General.
"Easy enough, Mars Floyd. It
won't do to 'moralize dem people. I'm
goin' to tell 'em dis dat when I left de
army it was in first-rate eperrits, and
