PP&L news
Pennsylvania Power &
Light Company recently
mailed to its shareowners,
employees, retirees, secur-
ity analysts and others, a
new 12-page publication
called Quarterly Review.
The review provides in-
depth financial statements,
an analysis of the Com-
pany’s last twelve months of
operation and a text section
detailing Where The PP&L
Dollar Goes, and a discus-
sion of the utility’s fuel
costs.
Robert R. Fortune,
PP&L’s financial vice presi-
dent, said that ‘‘because of
the general concern all of
our customers have with the
cost of electric service, and
because there should be no
mystery or lack of informa-
tion about our financial
position we are making the
review available to anyone
who will send us a written
request. Just drop a note to
our Information Services
Department at PP&L’s Al-
lentown General Office,
Two North Ninth Street,
Allentown, Pa. 18101.”
