The Colonial Luncheon, sponsored by the Marietta Branch Auxiliary to the Columbia Hospital will be held on Monday, December 15th at 12:30 p.m., at the home of vice-president, Mrs. Ralph Miller, 111 Fairview Avenue, Marietta. Crafts and homemade brightly packaged cookies will be sold. Miss Ruth Wisman will arrange the craft table and Mrs. Harold Drager will supervise the sale of ‘‘Sweet Stuff.”’ Members of the executive committee will supply and prepare the luncheon menu to which both the public and members of the Auxiliaries of the Columbia Hospital are invited. A program of special music with a guest soloist Mrs. Cherri Shaeffer and a Christmas carol song by the guests is planned, with Mrs. Ralph Miller as accompan- ist. Schreiber was interviewing Heilman about Heilman’s plans to leave Lancaster County after living here for 27 years. He is moving to Colorado, where nature is still domin- ant and the air is clean. He warned against invit- ing more industry into Lancaster County which will lead to even more popula- tion and crowding. The area around Maytown which Heilman described as perfectly beautiful, was recently designated as agri- cultural area in East Done- gal Townships new zoning ordinance. The major purpose of the ordinance is to preserve the area between Mount Joy and Marietta as agricultural land and keep out commer- cial, industrial, and housing development.
