Medal struck for Mount Joy
The Mount Joy - Florin
Coin Club is having a medal
made commemorating the
125th Anniversary of Mount
Joy, PA.
On the obverse will be the
Good Ship Mount Joy for
which Mount Joy was
named.
On the reverse is the
eagle and flag with the 13
stars.
The medals will go on sale
March 31, 1976. Bronze will
be $1.50, Silver and Bronze
Sets will be $14.00. (The 999
Silver will be numbered)
There will be a limited
amount of gold medals for
sale to non-members for
$150.00
Orders for the Sets and
the gold must be in by
January 1S, 1976. The
bronze medals will be sold
during the Bicentennial
affairs in Mount Joy.

The Coin Club sponsored
the Donegal Church medal
in 1967; it is now a col-
lectors item. It is expected
that the Mount Joy Medals
available in this limited
edition will be purchased
