Born in Conestoga Cen- ter, she was a daughter of the late Benjanim and Henrietta Sawyer Smith and the widow of Daniel C. Arnold. She was a member of Maytown Church of God, the Ladies Bible Class and the Women’s Republican Club of Lancaster. Survivors include three sons and four daughters, Harry, of York; Mervin and Jennings, both of Maytown; Nettie, wife of Russell Bostic; Viola, wife of Robert Houseal, and Minerva, wife of Carl Houseal, all of Maytown; and Reberta, wife of the late Mervin Foltz, with whom she resided. Zink, 82, died Wednesday at 5:30 a.m., at Pleasant View Convalescent Home, Manheim, RS, after an illness of seven weeks. He formerly lived at 529 East Market Street, Mari- etta, and was the husband of the late Emily M. Eater Zink, who died in 1967. Born in Marietta, he was a son of the late Joseph and Sophia Zeiglemeyer Zink and was a life-time resident of the area. He was a retired civil service worker, having last worked at the New Cumberland Army Depot. He retired in 1962. ‘He was baptized in the Episcopal faith and was an honorary member of the Zink-Penwell Post S861, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Marietta. The post was named for his son who was killed in World War II. He was also a member of Foresters Court Susque- hanna 23S of Columbia. Surviving are the follow- ing children: Dorothy, wife of Joseph Stoner, Elizabeth- town; Marian Herr, Mari- etta; Jane Swingler, at home; James Zink, Marietta; one brother, Howard Zink, Marietta; and three sisters: Mrs. Ada Harvey, Lancas- ter, Mrs. Nellie Bowers, Marietta, and Mrs. Mary Rambo, Pottstown. There are also 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. RAYMOND GRIMM Raymond H. Grimm, 54, Marietta R1, died Wed- nesday at 1 a.m., of a heart attack at his home. Born at Ridgewood, N.Y. he was a son of the late Herman and Francis Grimm. A bus driver for John- son’s Bus Service, Inc., Mount Joy, he had been a resident of the Marietta area for the past 15 years. He attended St. Mary’s Catho- lic Church, Marietta. Grimm was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 34, Lancaster, and a life mem- ber of Amvets Post 136, Ephrata.
