Safety patrols present skits at Riverview PTO
James Lawrence, patrol
advisor, was moderator and
Steve Shireman, captain,
explained the functions of
the group. Julie Bass and
Julie Splain, patrol Lieuten-
ants participated.
Others taking part in the
skits were Robbie Flanagan,
Mark Herman, Lisa Godsey,
Annie deVitry, Kathy Cox,

Members of the Safety
Patrol of Riverview Ele-
mentary School presented a
program for the Parent-
teacher Organization, Mon-
day night in the cafeteria.
Several skits were put on by
the patrol, each posing a
patrol problem.

After hearing the pro-
blems of the patrol mem-
bers, students were asked
‘their opinions about what
could be done in solving
each problem.
After the presentation,
parents were asked to form
groups for discussion on
how they could assist the
patrol to make it more
effective.

the safety patrol. It will be
awarded at the January 26
meeting. The bi-centennial
afghan will be on display in
a Market Street window in
Marietta.
