graduates
An officicial at Shep-
pard AFB, Tex., has an-
nounced the graduation of
Air National Guard (ANG)
Airman Gene G. Murphy of
Mount Joy, Pa., from the U.
S. Air Force’s aircraft
mechanic course conducted
by the Air Training Com-
mand.
Airman Murphy, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Paul A.
Murphy of 314 Chocolate
Avenue, Mount Joy, was
trained to maintain, repair,
and service aircraft current-
ly in use by the Air Force.
He is returning to his
Pennsylvania ANG unit at
Middletown.
The airman is a 1974
graduate of Donegal High
School.

back from sea
Navy Seaman Thomas D.
Fultz, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Merrill C. Fultz of 174 Farm
Lane, Landisville, Pa., has
returned to Norfolk, Va.,
aboard the frigate USS
McCandless after a six-
month deployment to the
Mediterranean.
During the cruise he and
his shipmates participated
in a variety of training
exercises with the U.S. Sixth
Fleet, and visited ports in
Italy, Spain, and Tunisia.
A graduate of Hempfield
High School, Landisville, he
joined the Navy in Septem-
ber 1973.
