Donegal got on the
scoreboard first with a 42
vard touchdown drive.
Brooks scored with a quar-
terback sneak and Mohr
kicked an extra point.

bor: from his own 30 yard

with Eagle end Pat Ross,
who carried the ball across
the goal line.

Price resigns
DHS wrestling coach Walt
Price announced his resig-
nation as coach on Friday.
His job will be taken over by
Eugene Funk.
Mr. Price sent a letter of
explanation to parents of
varsity wrestlers on Mon-
day.
C team loses
league title

On Sunday, the 2nd, the
Donegal Braves ‘“‘C’’ team
tangled" with the Crimson
Tide of Columbia for the
Red Rose league title and
unfortunately came up on
the short end of a 6—0
score. The teams battled
evenly throughout most of
the game, but Columbia
managed to push over a
score late in the 4th quarter.
The boys had an outstand-
ing season, finishing with an
overall 9-1-1 slate while
yielding only 12 points for
the entire season.
Darrel Risberg, Bill Mil-
ler, Brian Carbaugh, Shawn
Maxwell and Tom Luca-
baugh handled the offensive
backfield duties. Mike
O’Donell, John Yohe, Scott
Hostetter, Joe Edgell, Gil-
bert Cornwell, Eric Brenner,
Gene Wagner, Bob Blevins,
Kevin Fantom, Mike Ott,
Jim Grady, George Rice,
Matt Kauffman, Tom Doh-
ner, Kelly Claar, Dean
Musser and Tony Wohlfiel
battled in the trenches in the
line, both offensively and
defensively.
Also, we can not forget
our little cheerleaders. Lisa
Ruhl, Crystal Kelly, Heath-
er Farmer, Stephanie Max-
well, Liz Edwards, Jill
McKain, Kim Funk, Dee
Zeller and Stephanie Math-
iot cheered long, loud and
well for their boys and are to
be commended for their
enthusiastic support.
All the boys and their
coaches wish to thank
everyone for the excellent
support given to them
throughout the season. The
A,B,C teams will now play
this Saturday, the 8th, at the
Dallastown Bicentennial
Bowl and we wish them well
in their last outing.

will appear at the Hershey-
park Arena, Sunday, No-
vember 9 for two shows at 3
p.m. and 8 p.m.
