Priester currently serves as president of the Lebanon Valley College Senate and in that capacity is an ex-officio member of the trustee’s executive committee which hears petitions or griev- ances from students. A 1972 graduate of Donegal High School, Priester is majoring in business admininstration at Lebanon Valley and serves as captain of the wrestling and track teams and chap- lain of the Kappa Lambda Sigma fraternity. Market St. Marietta 426-1525 Dr. Irwin Richman, Bain- bridge, will conduct a travel seminar on antiques, Nov- ember 1, from Penn State Capitol Campus, where he heads the department of American Studies. This group of young archeologists includes; Carol Saylor, Patsy Crist, Linda Balt, Roy Miller, Mike McConnell, and Jason McClenaghan geological and archeological project. Although they were dig- ging in an ordinary East Donegal cornfield, the stud- ents used the same techni- ques archeologists use to unearth the remains of ancient civilization. Plots were carefully survey- ed and all rocks and artifacts were labeled and numbered. 6th grade archaeologists dig near Maytown The artifacts included an old toothpaste tube, some pennies and a dime. Some students made then own sifting boxes. When the days’work was over, the topsoil was replac- ed in the holes, and the site became an ordinary corn- field again. Mrs. Josephine Nagle was carried from the bed room of her E. Market St home by Dean Shope. Shope used a Maytown Fire Co. oxegen mask to force his way through the heavy smoke. Mike Kanoff accompaniec Shope to the top of the stairs. Mrs. Nagle was reportec in satisfactory condition a: Columbia Hospital Monday evening.
