Marietta Council declares trick
Trick-or-Treat in Marietta
will be on Thursday, Octo-
ber 30, 7 to 9 p.m., Mayor
Bernard McDevitt has an-
nounced.
J. R. Flanagan and John
Reuter were appointed by
Council President John
Parke to investigate candi-
dates for assistant solicitor
for the borough, to avoid
conflict of interest with the
borough solicitors: Nikolaus
Hohenadel, and Umben-

tion of a new oil burner in
the borough building and to
move the oil tank indoors.

E. Donegal zoning ordinance hearing, Oct. 28
East Donegal Township
supervisors will hold a final
public hearing on the
proposed East Donegal
Zoning Ordinance on Tues-
day, October 28, at 8 p.m. at
Donegal High School.

neighboring fire companies
assisted in pumping out
Marietta cellars after the
recent Eloise flood. Poineer
Fire Co. removed water
from 22 basements.

vice-president and asst.
