Band collects labels to buy new instruments

The Donegal Band Par-
ents Club adopted the
“*Colgate School Action
Plan’ at its regular monthly
meeting in the school
cafeteria Monday night,
October 6. The plan, ac-
cording to Chairperson Mrs.
Jay Loraw, is for people to
collect product labels which
are redeemable for cash.
Mrs. Earl Brightbill will
catalogue the box tops and
labels for redemption. Pro-
ceeds from this project will
be used to purchase addi-
tional musical instruments
for the band.

sale, outlined the project

10 and 11; seven local bands
will participate in the
exhibition.
The band will march in
the Marietta Halloween
parade on Wednesday, Oc-
tober 29, and in the
Harrisburg Parade of Bands
on November 22.
The annual spring concert
will be presented in the high
school auditorium on April
24.
