nial Commission will hold a
meeting Wednesday, Octo-
ber 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the
Boro Building. The commit-
tee is working on the
festivities schedule for May
22 through May 30.
Any organization wishing
to participate in the celebra-
tion should contact the
festivities chairman Larry
Gainer. Tentative schedule

Members of the Assembly
of God Church, Waterford
Avenue, Marietta, broke
ground for their new struc-
ture which will be built in
the near future.
The site, at the intersec-
tion of Oremine Road and
Route #141, was purchased
for $16,000 and will have an
eighty-five thousand dollar
structure with 10 rooms
constructed on this location.
The Reverend Leroy
Hoover, Pastor of the
congregation stated the
auditorium will seat 200
persons, and will include
classrooms, nursery, study,
young people facilities and
utility rooms.
The congregation is cur-
rently worshiping in Old
Zion's Church, Marietta.
