Deer licenses Anterless deer license applications will be accepted from Pennsylvania resident hunters beginning on Sep- tember 29, under rules and regulations adopted by the Game Commission. Under the Game Law, county treasurers are desig- nated as the issuing agents for antlerless deer licenses. Mary Jane Hoffer, chair- man of the World Affairs Committee, introduced the entertainment and the speaker for the evening. Entertainment was pro- vided by Mr. John Smith, cornetist, who played three selections: ‘‘Carnival of Venice’’, ‘‘The Holy City” and ‘‘Finiculi, Finicula”. Mr. Smith is cornet soloist with the Rohrerstown Band. He was accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Gerry Getz, who is a teacher in Hempfield School District. The speaker for the evening was Rev. David Barnhart, whose topic was ‘““Jews and Arabs—Will There Ever be Peace?’. Rev. Barnhart is pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, Dallastown. He was a tour guide to Israel for five years and is a lecturer and teacher on the Holy Lands and Modern Israel.
