J.V.’s LOSE TO GARDEN
SPOT
The Donegal J.V.’s were
subdued by a fine Garden
Spot J.V. team. The final
score of the soccer game
was 7—1. After a scoreless
first period Garden Spot
tallied three goals in the
second quarter which prov-
ed to be more than enough.
Donegal’s lone score was a
penalty kick by Mike Sager.
SOLANCO VS. DONEGAL
In more soccer, the junior
varsity of Donegal battled a
stubborn Solanco team to a
3—3 tie. After each of
Donegal’s scores the Mules
retaliated quickly to even
Mike Sager
scored twice for Donegal
= and Greg Newlin added the
third. :
