Obituaries
Mary B. Stehman
Mary B. Stehman, 89,
died Friday afternoon at the
Mennonite Home, 1520
Harrisburg Pike. She had
been ill one month.
Miss Stehman was born in
Rapho Township, the
daughter of the late Jacob
and Fianna Bender Steh-
man. She was a former
resident of Florin and
Mount Joy, were she had
worked as a stitcher in the
Mount Joy Mills.
A member of the Men-
nonite Church, she had been
a resident of the Mennonite
Home for the past five
years.
She is survived by two
brothers, Clayton B. Steh-
man, Mount Joy, and John
Stehman, Rheems.
Mrs. Ann Denney
Mrs. Ann L. Denney, 82,
of 30 South Second St.,
Columbia, died in York
Hospital last Friday at
12:35p.m. after a one-month
illness.
Mrs. Denney was the
widow of Dr. John D.
Denney, Sr. She was born in
Marietta, the daughter of
the late Samuel and Ella M.
Lutz Libhart.

Ms. Abbie Darrenkamp,
119 East Main Street,
Mount Joy, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Darrenkamp, of
the same address, has
recently completed her
studies with the Universal
Motel Schools.
She has received notifica-
tion that she has been
named to their Dean’s list.
She will take her resident
training at Miami, Florida,
starting late in November of
this year.
On Saturday, September 20, Stehman’s

can Revolution. She was
also a member of the
Women’s Club, Witness
Tree Chapter, the Lancaster
County Women’s Medical
Society Auxiliary, the Co-
lumbia Hospital Auxiliary,
and a trustee of the
Columbia Public Library and
Mount Wabia Club.
She is survived by her
son, John D., Jr. of
Columbia; one granddaugh-
ter, and one sister, Mrs.
Haldy L. Rodkey, at home.
