Marietta, Dies
Mrs. Jean M. (Sargen)
Shrader, 47, of 14 E. Market
St., Marietta, died Sunday
at the Holy Spirit Hospital,
Camp Hill, after an illness of
six months.
She was the wife of Dale
H. Shrader. Born in East
McKeesport, she was the
daughter of the late John
and Lillian Saunders Proud-
fit. She was a seamstress
and was employed at Simp-
kin Corp., Hellam. She was
a member of the United
Methodist Church of
Marietta.
In addition to her husband
she is survived by a son,
Louis M. Sargen Jr., Mari-
etta; a brother, Charles
Proudfit, Maryland; and two
sisters: Charlotte Hart and
Iva Proudfit, both of Vir-

Samuel J. Heisey,
E-Town, Dies at 63
Samuel J. Heisey, 63, of
Elizabethtown R2, died un-
expectedly Monday at 12:20
p.m. at Lancaster General
Hospital following an illness
of three days.
He was employed by the
C. E. Lutz Inc., Elizabeth-
town, and was a member of
Milton Grove Sportsmen’s
Association.
Born in East Donegal
Township, he was a son of
the late Levi and Laura
Johnson Heisey. He was
the husband of Elizabeth
Nagel Heisey.
Surviving in addition to
his widow, are a daughter,
Betty Jane, wife of Albert
Goodling, Elizabethtown R2,
and a stepson, Benjamin
S. Nagel, Elizabethtown R1;
six grandchildren; one
great-grandchild, and these
brothers and sisters: Irvin J.
Heisey, Conestoga; Esther,
wife of Charles Koser,
Manheim R4; Mabel, wife of
Dr. Roscoe Thome, Charles-
town, Md.; Abraham Heisey,
Mount Joy, R2, and
Clarence Heisey, Mount
Joy.
Mrs. William Tyndall,

Mrs. Reba Ream Tyndall,
74, wife of William Leroy
Tyndall, 82 E. Main St.,
Mount Joy, died at 12:15
p.m. Thursday at Lancaster
General Hospital after a
short illness.
Born in Elizabethtown,
she was a daughter of the
September 17, 1975
late Albert and Florence
Angstadt Ream.
She was a member of
Trinity Lutheran Church and
American Legion Auxiliary,
both of Mount Joy. She was
also active in the American
Red Cross and Girl Scouts
and assisted in a number of
charitable organizations in
the area. :
In addition to her husband
she is survived by three
sons, Robert L. Drexel Hill;
Jack E., Mount Joy, and
Richard L., Oak Ridge,
Tenn., and 13 grandchildren,
Also surviving are four
brothers and sisters: Roy H.
Ream, Elizabethtown; Ber-
tram L. Ream, Venice, Fla;
Meyer Ream, Rochester,
N.Y., and Mrs. Florence E.
Kreider, Manheim RI.
