Larry Gibble decorates his walls the good old-fashioned way
Larry Gibble is decorating
every wall of his 100
year-old Front Street, Mari.
etta home with stencils.
Not even the bathroom
has escaped Larry’s love for
this old-fashioned kind of
wall decoration.
Larry copies the designs
from restored houses in New
England. He makes free-
hand sketches of the Colon-
ial era designs, copies them
onto waxed paper stencils.
Larry dry-brushes the
designs carefully onto his
white plaster walls, giving
the patterns an authentic,
faded look.
