were united in marriage on
Saturday, August 16, 1975
at 4:00 p.m. The double ring
ceremony was performed by
Rev. W. Richard Kohler in
the St. Mark’s Lutheran
Church in Mount Joy.
Miss Reuter is the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Reuter of 6 Joy Ave., Mount
Joy. The groom is the son of
the late Merhl Kirchner and
Mrs. Isabel Kirchner of
351 S. Third St., Columbia.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a
white crepe empire-waisted
gown with wide, long
sleeves, high neckline, and
chapel length train. The
cuffs and bodice were
adorned, as was her camelot
headpiece, with pale blue
satin ribbon woven through
rows of venice lace trim.
She carried a nosegay of
carnations, baby rosebuds,
and baby’s breath.
Miss Vickie Eichler of
"Carlisle; Miss
Mount Joy was maid of
honor. Miss Kim Weary,
Jennie
Heistand, Marietta; Miss
Debbie Nissley, and Miss
Gail Grissinger. of Mount
Joy were bridesmaids. Miss
Lisa Greiner of Mount Joy
was the honorary brides.

The bride is a 1974
graduate of Donegal High
School and currently attend-
ing Elizabethtown College
in the Medical Secretary
program. The bridegroom
is a 1973 graduate of
Columbia High School and
is employed by The Sico
Company, Mount Joy.

Arthur Wolgemuth, Done-
gal Springs Road, Mount
Joy. The groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph N.
Sellers, 55 Elizabeth Street,
Landisville.
Given in marriage by her
parents, the bride wore
white cotton voile trimmed
with old fashioned lace. Her
white flowered hat . with
organza veil was caught by a
large bow of the same
material. Her bouquet was
glamelias and ivy.
Mrs. Debra Wolgemuth
of Jarashow, New York
City, was matron of honor
for her sister. Miss Kim
Rice of Falls Church, VA.
and Miss Elaine Herr Brown
of Philadelphia, were
bridesmaids, and Wayne
Wolgemuth, brother of the
bride was page.
Nevin Heistand of
Rheems, was best man,
Fred Lite of Vanding, VA.,
Kent Wolgemuth of Phila-
delphia; Todd Wolgemuth
.and Kirk Wolgemuth of
Mount Joy, brothers of the
bride were ushers.

The bride is a graduate of
Donegal High School and
Shippensburg State College.
The groom graduated from
Hempfield High School, and
Elizabethtown College. He
is employed with Pyrofax
Gas Company.
Following the reception at
Carpenter's Inn, Elizabeth-
town, the couple left for a
wedding trip through the
New England states. They
will reside in Lancaster.
A string quartet com-
posed of Stanley Dotterer,
Dr. Leroy Lovelidge, Ms.
Edna Barnes and Ms.
Jeanette Barnes presented
special music.
Rainbolt appointed to Scout
Bicentennial activity position
Richard A. ‘Rainbolt,
Mount Joy, is a member of
the volunteer Bicentennial
Activity Committee of the
Lancaster-Lebanon Council
of the Boy Scouts of
America.
The Lancaster-Lebanon
Council, Boy Scouts of
America ‘will sponsor a
major Bicentennial event in
the summer of 1976. A
‘Bicentennial Trek’’ is
planned which will include
key historical sites in each of
the four scouting districts.
The trek will be open to both
local and visiting Scouts, as
well as, to the general
public.
