Page 14 — SUSQUEHANNA BULLETIN June 25, 1975 Mount Joy High School class of 1950 gets together at Beahm Jr. Hi (Photos by James Beck) The class of 1950 at Mount Joy High School had a reunion last Saturday night at W. I. Beahm Junior High School, which in 1950 was the high school buil- ding. Among the guests were W. I. Beahm and his wife Esther, a former teacher in the area. Miss Catherine Zeller, Mr. and Mrs. John Day, Miss Thelma Taylor, and Mrs. Virginia Gargadi- an Huber were also guests. Miss Mary Jane Hoffer took the group on a tour of the building. Miss Hoffer is a member of the class of 1950 and now is librarian at the school. Entertainment was provi- ded by Kevin Earhart, Don Witman, Steve Hassinger, Corky Flick, and Kevin McKain, who played favo- rite tunes of the fifties. Earhart’s and Witman’s fathers are members of the 1950 class. DID YOU HEAR The Garbers are attend- ing a seminar on Islamics, June 16 to July 3 at the Hartford Seminary Founda- tion, Hartford,Conn. The Garbers work among Mus- lim people in eastern Ethio-- pia. Robert and Alta Garber returned to the states June S for 2 one-year furlough from Ethiopia.
