Rick Hilt pitching his no-hitter
Former Donegal High
School star Rick Hilt threw
the first no-hitter of the
season in the County Legion
League and blanked Cone-
stoga Valley 2-0.
Hilt, who just finished his
freshman year at York
Marietta, Mount Joy Midgets win
Marietta came in first,
Mount Joy second in a
midget baseball tournament
iast week.
Members of the Marietta
squad are:Craig Zink, John
Yohe, Joseph Butz, Merle
Geesey, Nick Halterman,
Todd Hess, James Nein,
Joseph Ott, Brian Stoutzen-
berger, Ken Stoutzenber-
ger, Dwaine Portner, Jeff
College, struck out 10 and
walked none. Only two
runners reached base, both
on errors.
Hilt also starred with the
bat, getting Mount Joy’s
only two hits, and driving in
what proved to be the
winning run.
