VANIA, TO VACATE,
CLOSE AND REMOVE
FROM THE MARIETTA
BOROUGH STREET PLAN
AN UNNAMED AND UN-
OPENED ALLEY WHICH
RUNS BETWEEN THE
PROPERTIES OF HARRY
HARTMAN AND CLYDE
ANDREWS FROM THE
NORTH SIDE OF EAST
FRONT STREET IN A
NORTHERN DIRECTION
TO HAZEL AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Harry
Hartman is the owner of a
parcel of real estate in the
borough of Marietta, Lan-
caster County, Pennsylvan-
ia, known as 452 East Front
Street; and
WHEREAS, Clyde An-
drews, et ux, are the
owners of real estate loca-
ted in the Borough of
Marietta, Lancaster
County, Pennsylvania,
known as 460 East Front
Street; and
WHEREAS, an un-
named and unopened alley
presently exists between the
two aforesaid properties,
running in a northerly
direction from East Front
Street to Hazel Avenue in
said Borough; and
WHEREAS, the legal
description of the two
aforesaid premises owned
by Clyde Andrews, et ux,
and Harry Hartman include
the aforesaid unopened and
unnamed alley in its
entirety; and
WHEREAS, the Borough
of Marietta is desirous of
vacating said alleyway.
NOW, THEREFORE, be
it enacted and ordained by
the Borough of Marietta,
and is is hereby enacted and
ordained as follcws:
SECTION 1. The
unnamed and unopened
alley, fourteen (14) feet in
width, as described in more
detail below, between the
existing properties of Clyde
Andrews, et ux, and Harry
Hartman, in the Borough of
Marietta, Lancaster County,
Pennsylvania, is hereby
vacated, closed and re-
moved from the Marietta
Borough Street Plan.
SECTION II. A more
detailed description of the
aforesaid fourteen (14) foot
wide alley is as follows:
Beginning at a point on the
north side of East Front
Street, a distance of One
Hundred Ninety and Eighty-
Five Hundreths (190.85)
feet west of the west side of
Bank Street, thence in a
direction South Eighty-Four
Degrees West (S 84 W)
along said north side of East
Front Street, a distance of
Fourteen (14) feet to a point;
thence North Six Degrees
West (N 6 W) a distance of
Two Hundred (200) feet to a
point on the south side of
Hazel Avenue; thence North
Eighty-Four Degrees East
(N 84 E), a distance of
Fourteen (14) feet to a point
along property now or late of
Clyde Andrews, et ux;
thence South Six Degrees
East (S 6 E), a distance of
Two Hundred (200) feet
to the point of Begin-
ning.
SECTION III. This Or-
dinance will become effec-
tive when advertised by
law
ENACTED AND OR-
DAINED this 10th day of
June, 1975.
