The eight-day school will
meet Monday through
Thursday, June 16-19, and
23-26, for two hours, 9:30 -
11:30a.m. Classes will be
open to all children of the
community from age 4
through Junior High. The
theme of this vear's school
is ‘Jesus, Touch Me’, with
co-Directors Karen Buller

NEWS FROM ST. MARY'S
The quarterly meeting of
the Lancaster District of
Catholic Women was held
Sunday, June 1, at the home
of Miss Anne Milanof, 22
Donegal Springs Rd. It was
a covered dish social with
the NCCW of St. Mary's,
Mount Joy, serving as
hostesses. Thirty two ladies
from parishes throughout
the county were present.
Father Kofchock, St. Pe-
ter’s, Elizabethtown, open-
ed the business session with
a prayer and Father Got-
walt, St. Mary's, Marietta,
offered the closing prayers.
The NCCW from St.
Peter's in Elizabethtown,
from St. Mary's in Marietta,
and from St. Mary's in
Mount Joy held a combined
parishes banquet June 3, at
Mr. Lacey's, Marietta. The
ladies from Elizabethtown
served as hostesses. Mrs.

The Sacrament of First
Holy Communion was cele-
brated at St. Mary’s on
Sunday, May 18. The First
Communicants were Hope
Madara, Beatrix Greiner,
Deanna Darrenkamp and
Diane Rusnock. A social was
held in the church for the
families and friends of the
Communicants immediately
following mass.
ALLIANCE VACATION
BIBLE SCHOOL
The Alliance Church, 153
East High Street, Eliza-
bethtown, announces Daily
Vacation Bible School, June
16 through June 27. The
theme is ‘Clap Your Hands,
Jesus is Lord’, Gospel Light
series. Superintendents are
Mrs. Lois Druckenmiller
and Miss Bonnie Weiser.
There will be classes for
all age groups, Nursery
through Senior High; also
there will be a class for
adults led by Rev. Grum-
bine.
The pastor, Rev. James
H. Grumbine and the people
of the Alliance church invite

community to attend.
The Annual Sunday
School Picnic will be held at
the Elizabethtown Commu-
nity Park, Saturday, June 28

ST. MARK’S YOUTH TO
SPONSOR SPLASH PARTY
The Youth Council of St.
Mark's United Methodist
Church, Mount Joy, has
announced its plans to hold
a Splash Party at the Mount
Joy Pool on Wednesday
evening, July 16, 1975. An
evening of music is being
projected with Mr. Bruce
Heffner as master of cere-
monies. Mr. Heffner is an
outstanding trumpeter. His
own solo work will be
combined with special se-
lections by the Wesley
Singers of St. Mark's
Church and groups from
other churches in the area.
In order to include as
many singing groups as
possible in the lineup of the
evening's sing-out the St.
Mark's Youth are request-
ing that any church inter-
ested in participating be in
contact with the office at St.
Mark's Church (653-5493)
as soon as possible. The
purpose of the evening is to
include as much area
musical talent as is available
and willing in order to
promote Christian fellow-
