Mr. and Mrs. Robert S.

on Saturday, May 31 at 2
p.m. in the Mechanicsburg
Brethen in ChristChurch.
The bride’s father, Rev. J.
Earl Martin Jr. officiated,
assisted by Rev. Simon
Lehman Jr., uncle of the
Bridegroom.
The bride made and
designed her floor-length
gown of chitfon over satin
and trimmed with lace. Her
illusion veil was held in
place by a headpiece of lace
and seed pearls. She carried
a Bouquet of carnations,
daisies, and pink sweetheart
roses.
Elizabeth Montalvo,
Grantham, was maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were
Jane Zercher, Waynesboro,
Darlene Wiser, Collegeville,
All-Elementary
The tenative schedule
for the All Elementary Band
Trip for the Donegal School
District to Banford, Conn.,
has been submitted by the
band director, H. Morrell
Shields. Leaving the Done-
gal High School on June 11,
at 6:30 A.M. the busses will
travel to Tarrytown, N.Y.,
Sleepy Hollow Country,
where a tour of Washington
Irvings home will be taken
by the 60 band members,
chaperones and guests ac-
companying the tourists.
The group will continue to

groom. The flower girl was
Sherry Sue Paulus, West
Milton, Ohio, niece of the
bride.
Ken Lehman, Mechanics-
burg, cousin of the groom,
was the best man. Ushers
were Dean Lehman, Phila-
delphia, cousin of the
groom, Galen Martin, Mt.
Joy, brother of the bride,
and Carlos Rosado, Me-
chanicsburg, brother of the
bridegroom. The ring bearer
was Wendell Nester, Me-
chanicsburg, nephew of the
groom
* "Mrs Lehman was graduat-
ed from Donegal High
School in 1970 and from
Messiah College in 1974.
The groom graduated
trom Northern High School
in 1968 and is employed by
Keefer’s IGA, Grantham.
After a wedding trip to the
New England state, the
couple will live at 2101 S.
Market St., Mechanicsburg.
Band on trip
Banford Schools where it
will be greeted by the
principal, a former Mariet-
tan, Bayard Grosh, and here
the students will sleep in
sleeping bags. A breakfast
is available at the school and
lunch can be obtained for a
fee. The musicians will
present a spring concert for
the Banford students and
leave for the return trip
about noon on June 12.
Parents,teachers, and two
nurses will accompany the
group on the trip.

You can sing for your supper
at Donegal Church Sunday
‘Sing for Supper’- a
musical program. followed
by a picnic- will be
presented at Donegal Pres-
byterian Church at 4 p.m.,
Sunday, June 8.
The public is invited.
There will be vocal and
instrumental music, and
psalm singing by the
audience in the manner of
the early church in Ireland
and America.
A ‘precentor’ will line out
some of the early hymns in a
manner that probably hasn’t
been heard at Donegal for
i 200 years or more
The program’s principal
number will be the Mozart
Concerto for Clarinet and
Piano, Opus 107, first
movement. H. Morrell
Shields will be the clarinet-
George McKee and Susan K. Weaver
ist, with the church organ-
ist, Stanley S. Dotterer, at
the piano.
Mrs. Joan S. Betty will
sing “I Extol Thee” by
Costa. A Vaughan Williams
number, for organ and
intruments, will be followed
by psalm singing.
Members of the choir,
which is sponsoring the
concert, will be garbed in
colonial costumes and will
act as ushers.
All who attend will be
invited to sit down
immediately afterward to a
picnic supper prepared by a
committee headed by W.
Alfred Withers.
The historic church is a
few miles west of Mount Joy
on Donegal Springs Road.

Lt. Paul H. Hossler Jr.
Hawthorne, Ca., has been
promoted to the rank of
Capt. in the United States
Air Force.
Capt. Hossler is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Paul H.
Hossler, Sr, 19 N. River St,
Maytown, Pa.
Capt. Hossler was
commissioned on 15 Oct-
ober 1970, upon graduation
from Penn State University
where he recieved his
Bachelor of Science Degree
and Masters Degree in
Mathematics. He is now
stationed at the Air Force
Satelite Control Facility, Los
angeles Ca my
bethtown College
She is employed by J. C.
Penny, Park City. Mr.
Minick is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Guy Minick, R. 4,
Elizabethtown. He was
graduated from Elizabeth-
town High School and
Central Penn Business
