DHS Band concert Sat.
The Donegal High School
Concert Band, under the
direction of Mr. Glenn Wea-
ver, will present their big
concert for the year, en-
titled ‘Spring Fling,” on
Saturday, May 3rd, at 8
p.m. in the high school audi-
torium. Adult tickets are
$1.00 and 50¢ for students.
“Spring Fling” will in-
clude such selections as
“National Spirit” March,
Ravel’s “Bolero,” a “John
Denver Medley,” and “Car-
ousel.” Also included will
be a novelty number.
The Band has over 90
playing members and is
growing every year. The
Band cordially invites the
whole community to come
out and support your school
band program.

“I'M FOR WOMEN'S LIB!”
Who says girls can’t train elephants? Young Sharon Hil-
ton, billed as “Princess Sharon,” makes her point twice a
day as she presents the Royal Wild West Circus’ baby ele-
phant “Titey”’ in the center ring (don’t worry for her safety
—her daddy, not such a believer in Women’s Lib, will be
close at hand!)
Princess Sharon is one of many featured performers com-
ing to Kunkle Field, Mount Joy with the world’s largest wild
west circus on May 7 under the sponsorship of the Mount
Joy Welcome Wagon Club.
