AREA YOUTH
PRESENT MUSICAL

row’s “Songs On The Way”
at the Cross Roads Breth-
ren in Christ Church on
April 27 at 7 p.m. Directed
by John Eyer, the youth
choir is composed of teens
from six area Brethren in
Christ churches.
Instrumentalists for the
concert are Alice Dourte,
piano; Rick Eyer, drums;
Jamie Flowers and Mark
Condon, guitar; and Ron
Tamkin, bass guitar.
Solo and duet selections
will be sung by Laurie Cri-
der, Eugene Mellinger, Jan
Eyer, Kathy Swisher, Ber-
nice Mummau, Lesetta
Mummau, Jesse Wolgemuth,
Faithe Dourte and Randy
Lehman.
John Eyer, who initiated
this inter-church project, is
Minister of music at the
Elizabethtown Brethren in
Christ Church, and a music
instructor in the Donegal
Area schools.
“Songs On The Way,” ar-
ranged by Ralph Carmichael,
is a musical challenging the
listener to move into a real
and vital spiritual experi-
ence.
Cross Roads Brethren in
Christ Church is located at
Donegal Springs Road and
South Angle Street in Mount
Joy. Roy J. Peterman is
the pastor.
WILD LIFE INMARIETTA
The Robert Lowman
family of Marietta has adop-
ted a baby red fox that is
about two weeks old. They
hope to raise the fox as a
pet. (The Lowmans are the
owners of the famous ““Pok-
ey Turtle’ who was written
up in the old Susquehanna
Times.)
Dick Smedley, Sr., and
his family found a baby gray
squirrel on their sidewalk.
Obviously he was too young
to leave his mother, so the
Smedleys are feeding him
milk from a baby bottle.
Dick says the baby is very
cuddly.

AMBULANCE DRIVE
Mike Kanoff, Maytown
Fire Company president, has
announced the opening of
the 1975 drive for Ambu-
lance Association members.
A family can join for $5,
emergency medical techni-
cians on call. For further
