Miller Assistant Secretary The 22nd meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Pion- eer Fire Co., Marietta, was held on January 7. Presi- dent Carol Nickey called it to order. A check for $2,000.00 was donated by the women for the building fund. It was given to the President of the Fire Co., Ken Geesey at the meeting. A Christmas Bazaar will be held on October 17 & 18, 1975. Chairmen are Linda Rettew and Linda Flowers. There will be meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the month for those members who wish to help make things for the bazaar. President Carol Nickey is taking orders for Fire Co. jackets. A deposit of $10 is needed. Any women 18 years of age or older are invited to join. The next meeting will be held February 4, at 7:30 p.m. at the firehall. Artists sign their work Michael Abel, Marietta Pat Trout and Alice Wright of Bainbridge are holding a fashion jewelry sale in Pat’s home this week for the benefit of two families who were burned out of their homes in Bainbridge and Falmouth. The burned-out families are the Robert Campbells of Falmouth and the Harry Craveners of Bainbridge. Both families have small children and are living with neighbors and relatives. The sale which runs in Pat’s house from January 13 to 19 at Second and Market Streets in Bainbridge, across from the post office, is being conducted as an open house walk-in. Kinter will personally auto- graph copies of the book, “A Way of Life,” which Abel illustrated and Kinter wrote.
