Stockholders of the Marietta
Gravity Water Company will
be held in the office of the
company, Route No. 441 By-
Pass, Marietta, Penn-
sylvania 17547, on Tuesday,
January 14, 1975, from 10:00
to 11:00 o'clock a.m., at
which time directors shall be
elected by ballot, each for a
term of three years or until
their successors are elected
and qualified, and there shall
be transacted such other
business as may properly
come before the meeting or
any adjournment thereof.

IMPOSING
A PROPERTY TAX AND
A PER CAPITA TAX
FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1975.
IT IS HEREBY OR-
DAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE
BOROUGH OF MOUNT
JOY, LANCASTER
COUNTY, PENNSYL-

VANIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. A tax is
hereby levied on all
property within the said
Borough. Subject taxation
for Borough purposes for
the fiscal year 1975 is as
follows: tax rate for
general purposes, the sum
of fourteen (14) mills on
each dollar of assessed
valuation, making a total
tax rate of fourteen (14)
mills for Borough pur-
poses under this section.
SECTION 2. In addition to
the taxes levied by Section
1 of this Ordinance, a per
capita tax of five ($5.00)
dollars for the fiscal year
1975 is hereby levied on
each resident of the
Borough Twenty-one (21)
years of age and over. This
section is enacted under
autherity of the Act of
June 25, 1947, P.L. 1145,
and its amendments.
SECTION 3. All ordinances
and parts of ordinances
inconsistent with this
ordinance are hereby
repealed to the extent of
such inconsistency.

AN ORDINANCE OF
THE BOROUGH OF
MOUNTJOY,
LANCASTER COUNTY, PA,
AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 367
OF OCTOBER, 14, 1974
ESTABLISHING
THE AMOUNT
TO BE DEPOSITED
IN PARKING METERS.
BE IT ORDAINED AND
ENACTED by the Borough
Council of the Borough of
Mount Joy, Lancaster
County, Pennsylvania, and it
is hereby ordained and
enacted as follows:
Section 66. Coin Deposit in
Meters. Upon parking any
vehicle in a parking meter
zone at any time during
which the parking limit
provisions of this ordinance
are in effect, the operator
thereof shall, upon entering
the designated parking
space, immediately deposit
or cause to be deposited a
five cent coin or coins or a
ten cent coin of the United
States in the designated slot
of the parking meter con-
trolling such parking space,
and, on a manually operated
parking meter, operate it in
accordance with the
directions thereon. Upon the
deposit of such coin or coins
and the placing of the said
meter in operation, such
parking space may be
lawfully occupied by any
vehicle during the period of
time as indicated on the
parking meter. If a vehicle
remains in a parking space
for such a length of time that
the meter shall indicate that
the lawful parking period
has expired, such vehicle
shall be considered as
parked overtime, and in
violation of this ordinance.
The coins deposited shall
permit the legal parking of a
vehicle in a parking zone at
the following rates:
a. Each nickel ($.05) will
provide 30 minutes of
parking time when deposited
up to the maximum time,
indicated on the meter.
b. Each dime ($.10) will
provide one hour of parking
time when deposited up to
the maximum time indicated
on the meter.
