St. Mark's Sets Advent Workshop One of the most popular family events each year at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, is the Advent Workshop. This year it will be held on Sunday, Dec. 1, immediately after the Morning Worship Service. There will be a sack lunch after which a period of craft and handiwork has been scheduled. Both family and individual projects will be undertaken, all in preparation for the ob- servance of Advent and Christmas in the home. Games for all ages will be played and suitable prizes awarded. Concluding the event this year will be an Advent-Walk-Through. Tableaus representing scenes of Christmas events will be on view at different places in the Church. Youth of the congregation will serve as the various characters.
