She was a former resident of this area. Mrs. Richard Shirk is a patient in the Columbia Hospital. Michael Kanoff expects to return from the hospital sometime this week. National-Standard Posts Record Sales For the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, National-Standard company reported record sales of $218.8 million and record earnings of $13.9 million or $3.20 per share. In the previous year, sales were $178.2 million and earnings were $6.9 million or $1.58 per share. Fourth fiscal quarter sales and operating profits were also records, being $59.0 million and $.81 per share, respectively. : Chairman T.H.
