Strickler, who lived from 1841 to 1928, was held on Sunday, May 19, at the Salunga Fire Com- pany park. Attending were 130 members of the family, who held a picnic buffet luncheon and an afternoon program. The program included a vocal duet by Ruth Sly and Erma Yeakel, sisters; a talk by Dr. Damon Strickler of Palmyra, Pa.; presentation of “The Lord’s Prayer” in sign language by Mrs. Vicki Kemp of Lancaster; and an address by Walter W. Barto, Jr., of Meadow Brook, Pa. Token gifts were presented to all those attending. Arrangements were made by the oldest living generation of the family, all cousins: Mrs. Mary Sarver, Mrs. Mary Barto, Mrs. Martha Hoffer, Mrs. Maud Gainer, Mrs. Dorothy Heisey and Mrs. Edna Wolgemuth.
