The marriage of Miss
Sharon Maureen Green to
Thomas David Young,
Bristol, took place Saturday,
March 16, at 1 p.m. at the
English United Presbyterian
church, Marietta, with the
Rev. Eugene Wright of-
ficiating.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. James A.
Green, 582 Wood St. She was
graduated from Donegal
high school and Bloomsburg
State College. She is em-
ployed by Bristol Twp.
School District as an English
teacher.
The bridegroom is the son
of Mrs. Todd Sanders, Santa
Ana, Calif., and the late
Thomas Young. He was
graduated from Rubidoux
High School, Riverside,
Calif., and Riverside City
College. He is employed by
Denney’s Corp., Delran, N.J.
Mrs. Richard K. Groom,
sister of the bride, Columbia,
was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were: Miss
Maureen Bonner, Levit-
town; Miss Donna
Young,Levittown, and Miss
Nancy Rolfs, Garfield, N.H.
Serving as best man was
Edward Young of Levittown.
Ushers were: James M.
Green, brother of the bride,
Mount Joy, Richard Har-
tung, Bristol, and Edward
Callan, Bristol.
Following the ceremony, a
reception was held at the
Knights of Columbus,
Columbia. The couple will
live in Bristol.
ROSE-HEDRICKS
The marriage of Miss
Mary Suzanne Hedricks,
Middletown, to Thomas F.
Rose took place Saturday,
March 16, at 7 p.m. at the St.
Peter’s Church with the Rev.
William C. Jacobs of-
ficiating.
The bride is the daughter
of Mrs. June Hedricks, 14 E.
Market St., Mariett, and
Paul Hedricks, Columbia.
She was graduated from
Donegal high school and
attended Elizabethtown
college. She attends the
Pennsylvania State
university, capitol campus.
The bridegroom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J.
Rose, Middletown. He was
graduated from Middletown
high school, Millersville
State college and served in
the U.S. Navy for two years.
He is employed by United
Engineers and Constructors,
Three Mile Island.
Lois A. Anderson of Mount
Joy was maid of honor.
Serving as best man was
James T. Hreska of Mid-
dletown.
Following the ceremony, a
reception was held at the
home of the bridegroom’s
parents. The couple will live
in Middletown.

David R. Gingrich, son of

Program Launched
A special effort to make it
possible for all citizens -
children and adults - who can
at the East Chestnut Street
Mennonite Church, Lan-
caster. Lester T. Weaver
officiated, assisted by Ar-
thur Miller.
Maid of honor was Janet
Weaver, Cornettsville, Ky.,
sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Jan
Rheinheimer, Elmira, N.Y .,
and Mrs. Martin Miller,
Landisville.
Dean Hertzler,
Mechanicsburg, was best
man. Ushers were Nelson
Gingrich, Mount Joy,
brother of the bridegroom,
and Martin Miller, Lan-
disville. Mrs. Elvin Kreider
was organist and soloist was
Robert Weaver, brother of
the bride.
Mrs. Gingrich, a 1971
graduate of Lancaster
Mennonite high school, is
employed by the Mennonite
Home.
Mr. Gingrich, also a 1971
graduate of Lancaster
Mennonite high school, is
employed by David Miller
Jr., Builder.
After a reception at the
Meadow Hills Dining House,
the couple left on a wedding
trip to Williamsburg, Va.
They will reside in Lan-
disville.
