Thursdays to the 1st and 3rd. Tuesdays of every month at 7:30 P.M. in the new fellowship hall of Trinity Lutheran Church, West Main street. The chorus was formed in 1971 to sing as a group for the “Christmas Music In The Park” program sponsored by the Mount Joy Community Council. After this appearance the group was requested to sing for various the wall all too often and were unable to contain the E-town eleven. Doug Hopwood, Mark Divet, Scott Mowrer and com- pany were unsuccessful in generating an offiense until the fourth quarter. Mowrer made a beautiful 55-yard punt return for Donegal’s first score and shortly thereafter Hopwood hit Richards for a TD and six more points, but they still came up on the short end of the final score. The “C” team remained un- beaten and unscored upon as they steamrolled to a 28-0 victory. Allan White plunged two yards for the score on the first play of the second quarter and Donegal had a 6-0 lead. Shortly thereafter, Todd Butz drove over from the one-yard line, White added the PAT and the lead jumped to 13-0. An Allan White to Steve Meszaros pass covering 48 yards upped the score to 19-0. Jeff Duke added the PAT and at half-time Donegal sported a 20-0 lead. In the third quarter a Butz to Meszaros pass play which covered 30 yards resulted in six more points. A Butz to Joe Althoff pass ac- counted for the 2-point conversion church and community functions and decided to stay together and to be known as the Mount Joy Community Chorus. Members of the chorus are interested in continuing the organization and invite anyone in the area, sixteen and over, interested in music, and who enjoys singing, to join the group. The chorus is under the direction of Dorothy E. Schock and Mrs. Daniel Bubacz is the pianist. Officers are: John F. Way, Jr., president ; Mrs. Warren H. While the offense rolled, the defense rocked E-town as Steve Neal intercepted one pass, Jeff Duke recovered two fumbles and Allan White blocked a punt. Frank Brommer, Jeff Kauffman, Cory Heisey, Bill Dishart, Darrin Kolp, White and Meszaros yielded only two first downs to their opponents as Deongal retained at least a share of first place in their division.
