They must-achieve a coordination of mental con- centration and physical relaxation. They must play their shots with a rhythm that comes only from practice. If they should lose that rhythm, they would lose the tournament. In our work, in our play, in whatever we do, practiced coordination between concentration and relaxation puts us into the rhythm of life and we become winners! EAROEN6 departure. ENS SNES TINIEST OSES SEN 53D THANK YOU I, Jeffrey Leif Haines, want to thank Dr. Kendig, the wonderful nurses at St. Joe and all my friends for sympath- ies, flowers and kindnesses shown my Dad, Mom and brothers in my recent EB OES FOBGROGR I Boro Completes 1973 Summer Street Projects For all practical purposes, the 1973 Mount Joy street program has been completed. At a couple of spots -- like a north Market Avenue and Church Street -- there is some remaining work, but the bulk of the program has been completed by two dif- ferent contractors. The summer projects will cost the borough a little more than $30,000, which is about the amount which is spent each season on such improvements. The B.R. Kreider company did work contracted at $11,860 and H.R. Martin performed $18,538 on contract. A little more work had been planned, but engineering problems arose and some have nor yet been solved. They probably will be carried over until 1974. > Deaths JEFFREY LEIF HAINES Private funeral services were held for Jeffrey Leif Haines, 14- year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Haines, 830 East Main street, who died in a motor bike accident. The tenth grade pupil at Donegal high school was riding his vehicle along a private roadway of the Penn Central railroad Wednesday evening, Sept. 13, with two friends. The bike struck a log and the boy was thrown about 15 feet onto his head and shoulders. The victim was taken to the St. Joseph’s hospital. Born in Lancaster, he attended St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Mount Joy. He was a member of the school’s Student Council and Science Club. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Larry Guy, Mount Joy, and Stanley Van, at home; and two grand- fathers, Paul C. Moore, Mount Joy, and John S. Haines, Mount Joy R2.
