Mrs. Rhobie Grove made a misstep in going to the basement and broke her foot. Henry Heisey, another senior citizen, passed away at the Columbia Hospital last Monday. James Shank, Jr. is at the Hershey Medical Center suf- fering from face, head, chest and leg injuries he received in an automobile accident. He un- derwent surgery and has not shown much improvement. The Fire Company answered the ambulance calls and one fire call last week. Eugene Saylor will celebrate his birthday anniversary April 12. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Roaten attended the Retirement Dinner honoring his father at Stockton, N.J. last Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Roaten, Stockton, N.J. spent Sunday with the Bobby Roatens. Mr. and Mrs. Hubert visited relatives in Center County last weekend. The Golden Age Club will meet on Tues., Apr. 17. Pastor Earl Herr will show slides of his trip to the Holy Lands. The combined Brethren in Christ Churches of Elizabethtown, Maytown and Mount Joy areas will present a night of music Sunday evening April 15, at 7:30 at the Donegal High School Auditorium. A choir of 35-40 voices will present the John W. Peterson Cantata, ‘““Easter Song’’ and also a number of songs from ‘‘Handel’s Messiah.” The program is open to the public. A free will offering will be lifted to take care of the expenses of renting the auditorium. Any money left will be sent to assist in the relief of the earthquake victims of Nicaragua. Doors will open at 7:15. Please come and enjoy a night of music. The Crusaders of the Maytown Brethren in Christ Church will “2 * va present an Easter Play April 22 at 7:30 P.M. An Easter Breakfast will be served at the St. John’s Lutheran Church on Sunday morning at 8 a.m. All members are urged to attend. The Donegal High School Chorus presented a very ex- cellent program at the United Church of Christ last Sunday evening. This was their sixth presentation in the area chur- ches. Mrs. Lau is to be com- mended for the outstanding job she is doing. If you did not attend this program you certainly missed an excellent and en- joyable concert.
