Miss Jean Moore, 362 W. High
St., Elizabethtown, to Fred Erb.
She is also the daughter of the
late Richard Moore.
The bride-elect was graduated
from Mount Union High School.
She is employed by AMP Inc.,
Elizabethtown.
Mr. Erb is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Paul Erb, 255 Marietta St.,
Mount Joy.
He is employed by Reist Seed
Co., Mount Joy.
SHENK—MACK
Mr. and Mrs. Abram Mack,
Collegeville R2, announce the
engagement of their daughter,
Donna L., to James W. Shenk, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Warren G.
Shenk, Mount Joy R2.
Miss Mack was graduated from
Lancaster Mennonite high school
in 1971. She is a student in the
nursing course at Montgomery
County Community College.
A 1971 graduate of Lancaster
Mennonite high school, Mr.
Shenk is serving as a community
development worker in British
Honduras under the auspices of
Eastern Mennonite Board of
Missions and Charities, Salunga.
The marriage of Miss Pamela
Brandt, 239 Park Ave., to Joseph
M. Funbar, took place Saturday,
March 31, at 4 p.m. at the home of
the bridegroom’s parents with
the Rev. Weitzel officiating.
The bride is the daughter of
James R. Brandt, Manehim, and
Mrs. Lois F. Brandt, Jackson-
ville, Fla.
The bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Funbar,
239 Park Ave., Mount Joy.

Phone Surcharge Rate
Takes Slight Drop
The United Telephone Com-
pany of Pennsylvania has an-
nounced a decline in the sur-
charge rate on most intrastate
telephone services for its Lan-
caster county area subscribers.
Effective April 10, the rate will
drop from 4.9 percent to 4.7
percent. The reduction has been
made in accordance with the
provisions of the Pennsylvania
Public Utility Commission State
Tax Adjustment procedure,
dated March 10, 1970.
