KITCHEN KNIVES
Nearly everyone has been
nicked by a knife at one time
or another, sometimes serious-
ly. A study sponsored by the
National Safety Council re-
ported that there are four gen-
eral causes for knife injuries
in the home: wrong use of a
knife, or using the wrong
knife for a certain task; slips;
storage and handling; and
sharpening, including testing
the sharpness of the blade
