The Worry Clinic by Dr. Geo. W. Crane Hartley says that sea water is a boon to his church! See if you agree with his ideas. The Food and Drug Ad- ministration has feuded with me for 16 years over the new biochemical approach to deficiency ailments. But the FDR bureaucrats are fast losing ground. Beware of medical dictocrats! CASE R-584, Hartley A., aged 42, is a “sea water” fan, “Dr. Crane,” he added, “your articles about the trace chemicals in ocean water have “For seven members who formerly couldn’t kneel at the altar for the Communion Ser- vice, now do so with ease. “And it is apparently due to their use of water from our Great Salt Lake here in Utah! “For they had been victims of crippling arthritis for years yet within 4 to 6 months, their joints loosened up. “Our Great Sait Lake is several times more concentra- ted than the ocean’s water, but contains the same water- soluble trace chemicals.” TRACE CHEMICALS On March 18, Dr. F. H. Nielsen added nickel to the trace chemicals that may be vital to good health. benefited our church. Dr, Nielson is a Research Chemist in our U. S. Depart- ment of Agriculture. Of the 44 water-soluble chemical elements in ocean water, those scientists have already proved that 20 are essential to mankind’s health, And they also indicate that five more are indispensable to the human body. Steadily our researchers are thus finding that more and more of those 44 are vital to good health. Yet when I expounded this trace chemical theory in my ‘Worry Clinic” back in 1955, the Food and Drug Adminis- tration regarded it as “quack- ery.” The head of the FDA even taunted me by saying “There is nothing of any medical val- ue in the sea.” That asinine statement is going to choke the FDA! For laymen, as well as med- ical scientists, knew even in 1955 what iodized salt was do- ing to curb simple goiter. And in 1955 we medics were prescribing a combina- tion vitamin-mineral ampule that contained as high as a dozen trace chemicals. Remember, God Almighty designed us so that all 44 of those water soluble chemicals are circulating in our blood. So there must have been a reason, for God isn’t ineffTic- ient, Meanwhile, tists were admitting many human ailments apparently due to chemical deficiency.” Among these deficiency ail- ments were gray hair, bald- ness, asthma, eczema, psorias- is, epilepsy, dizbetes and even cancer, Most researchers have been vainly trying to find some fancy (and expensive) drug to curb cancer. Meanwhile, they have larg- medical scien- that were ‘some om all of us to all of you... ely ignored the deficiencies of internal body hormones (such as Dr, A. C. Ivy's Carcalon). And they ignore the simple “horse sense” logic of trying to feed the bodily glands those essential trace chemicals out of which they can manufact- ure their own antidotes (hor- mones) to prevent various de- ficiency ailments, “Dr. Crane,” many educat- ed folks inquire, “why should medicine be so hostile to the health foods and sea water chemicals?” Well, the latter require no costly prescription! Patients can even procure the sea water merely by wad- ing out at the beaches of the oceans, Also, many doctors are op- posed to letting people cure themselves or remedy their health problems FREE. Located east of Marietta and just off Route 23, the new structure planned by the Lancaster County Commis sioners would be a pre-stres- sed concrete crossing. Supervisors of both East Donegai and Rapho townships are involved, Preliminary plans call for the bridge to be slightly relo- cated to eliminate sharp turn approaches as was the old bridge, known as Johnson's Mill bridge, Chess Team Extends Lead Beahm Jr. High chess team has extended its winning streak by defeating Country Day Junior High 4 to 2. His willingness to do this without pay was communicat- ed to local newspapers. Recei- ving about a dozen responses, Mr. Rosen elected to relieve a bartender who had not been home on Christmas Eve for nine years. This simple act of brother- hood — a grass-roots express- sion of what one person can do — created a sensation, He received many congratulatory phone calls and letters. The press and TV gave his action a prominence often reserved for conflict and calamity. An entire Jewish congregation of 300 volunteered to do the same. As the feasts of Christmas and Hannukuh approach, it wouldn't hurt if we all stop- ped to ask ourselves whether we could show a similar will- ingness to put our convictions into action. The ecumenical movement is more than a matter of offi- cial statements and occasion- al interfaith ceremonies. After all, it is in the hearts and daily contact of people that the growth of humanity towards unity takes place. What unites people of every religion is more basic than what divides them. The cand- le that was lighted by one man asserts this unity with simple eloquence. And his idea has spread to countless other hearts. Perhaps the final triumph of Albert Rosen’s action will be that someday it may be so common that it will no longer rate a headline.
