Mrs. Anna Hiestand is con- valescing at the Lehman Nur- sing Home. Mrs. Mabel Haverstick had surgery last Wednesday and is in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph’s hospital. Mrs. Margaret Brandt re- turned home from the hospit- al and is convalescing at the Greers. Theodore was removed to the hospital by ambulance last Monday evening. He was stricken at the Fire House with a coronary. The Sunday School picnic of the Brethren church was held at the Sico Park June 15th, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hoff. man took part in the evening service at the Church of the Brethren last Sunday evening. They are preparing to go to a Mission station at Oregon. Mrs. Elizabeth Strawbaugh has joined the retirees as of May 1. On Saturday evening at 7:30 the Men's Fellowship of the United Church of Christ is sponsoring an organ-instru- mental concert by Lancaster artists. This is the second week of Daily Vacation Bible School. The Excelsior Class of the Church of God met Tuesday al, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bostic, Congratutations to Mr. and Mrs. James Young on the birth of a daughter. Mrs. Young is the former Linda Gainer. The Church of God softball team played the Methodist church under the lights Tues- day at 7:45. Spec. 5 Curtis is a supply specialist in headquarters and company, . 1230 Maintenance Battalion of the division. He entered the army in January 1968 and was last stationed at Ft. Rucker, Ala.
