Youth and adults will join
in a Jesus Festival service of
praise, singing, testimony, &
discussion at the Salunga
Church of the Brethren on
Sunday evening, Mar. 5, be-
ginning at 7 o'clock.
Lee Roland of Souderton
will lead the singing with his
guitar. Youth of the area
whose. lives have been touch
ed by the “Jesus Movement”
will chare their testimonies
and Wm. Longenecker, pastor,
will have the ran session. Af-
ter the meeting there will be
a panel discussion on the
Jesus Movement’,
Th's festival of praise is a
part of Lenten servicse con-
ducted bv the Salunga-Landis-
ville Ministerium. Last Sun-
day evening the discussion
was led bv Rev. Gerald Krum
on the “Cultiz Movement”
and was held at the Zion Lu
theran church, Landisville,
On Sunday evening, Mar, 12
the discussion will be led by
Rev. Bruce Lenich on “Witch-
craft and the Snirit World” at
Hempfield Methodizt Church,
Sunday evening. Mar, 19, the
series of services will be con-
cluded at the Chiques United
Methodist church when the
youth will pursue the theme
“Tell It-Like 11 Is".
Each of these meetings be-
gins at 7 o'clock and follows
the theme “Jesus and What's
Haprening”.
The public is invited to join
in the worship and discus
sions.
LADIES RETREAT
A Ladies Retreat will be
held March 4. at 9 am. to 3
p.m. at the Mount Joy Menno-
nite church.
Speakers will be Catherine
Leatherman and Betty Char-
les. Those attending are asked
to bring lunch and coffee.
Everyone is welcome.
