Upon returning home Mrs. Packer flew to Dallas, Texas to visit her son and family, Mr. and Mrs, Roger B, Packer and daughter, Denise, for five days. While there she attended a Joycee r{eting with her daughter-in-law and was particularly interested in a report on the International Joycee convention recently held in Hawaii, where many European nations gathered for an exchange of ideas. Mrs. Packer enjoyed helping with a Joycee project that in- volved taking ten blind chil- dren to an herb garden the Jaycees had planted in a com- munity park especially for them to experience the sense of touch and smell. wa» On Saturday evening, Dec. 4 Mr. and Mrs. John Harn- ish entertained the Jaycee board members at a buffet supper held in their home.
