Joseph Balt was one of the first hunters to bag a 6-point buck last Monday morning. He went to York County, shot his deer and was back home before it rained. Jay Houseal was among the successful hunters. He shot a 6-point buck in Tioga County. R. Libhart also shot a 6- point buck in Perry County. There were many others who saw deer, shot at them, but not lucky. George Shirk returned from the hospital last Satur- day. However he was in the General hospital and not St. Joseph's as was reported.
