Mike and Eric wrestled each other in the quarter finals, and Mike won in overtime 2 to 0. Then Mike and Steve wrestled in the semi-finals, and after a close they scoring bout, Steve pinned Mike with 20 seconds left in the bout. Mike wrestled in the consolations and won by a 6 to 0 score giving him 3rd place honors. There were 35 boys in this particular weight class, and Donegal had 3 of the top 4 wrestlers in this weight class. Other finalists for Donegal were Keith Yordy, Maytown, in the Junior division at 63 pounds and Mike Schatz from the high school in the Sub- senior division at 105 pounds. Keith was pinned in the third period by a wrestler from West York, and Mike was pin- ned in the third period by a boy from Dover, Pa. However both boys did a fine job and are to be commended on their performance throughout the tournament, In a consolation round, Mike Greiner, from Seiler and Scott Wolgemuth, from the W. I. Beahm Jr. high, picked up two 3rd place ribbons. Tex Landis, from the Jr. High was a recipient of a 4th place a- ward. These three boys all lost to the boy who won their particular weight class, so can also be proud of their accomplishments.
